About EFI Studios

EFI Studios was built from a passion for strength sports, live events, and the community that surrounds them. What began as a small operation supporting local competitions has grown into a full media and live production company focused on bringing professional-level coverage to strength and fitness events of all sizes.

Owners Chuck and Alex Ellison — husband and wife — began promoting strength events in 2021 with the goal of helping athletes and local competitions gain the exposure they deserved. Since then, Chuck has promoted, live streamed, competed in, and/or supported nearly 50 strength events across the Southeast and beyond. That firsthand experience inside the sport gives EFI Studios a unique understanding of what athletes, promoters, and fans want from a live production.

In 2024, Trey Godbold joined EFI Studios as a co-host and commentator, helping expand the company’s live coverage and on-air personality. His energy, sport knowledge, and ability to engage audiences quickly became a major part of EFI’s broadcasts and podcast content.

Alongside Chuck, Alex, and Trey, EFI Studios is also powered by Travis Williams, Brandon Ward, and a handful of other amazing people helping oversee operations, logistics, production support, and long-term growth as the company continues expanding into multiple sports and entertainment spaces.

Today, EFI Studios specializes in professional live streaming, multi-camera productions, commentary integration, custom graphics, sponsor activations, and digital media coverage for strength sports, fitness competitions, martial arts, podcasts, and live events.

At our core, we are fans of the sports we cover. We understand the long prep days, the early mornings, the heavy lifts, the behind-the-scenes work, and the passion it takes to build these events. Our goal is to help every competition look bigger, reach farther, and leave a lasting impact on athletes, fans, and sponsors alike.
